Join AHL and help create a welcoming place away from home
Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL) is conducting a national bulk recruitment process to fill multiple APS2 positions across our national hostel network, and to establish a merit pool that may be accessed over the next 18 months. Opportunities are available on an ongoing and non-ongoing basis including full-time, part-time and casual arrangements.
For over 50 years we have been providing culturally safe and affordable accommodation for First Nations people across Australian who are travelling away from home to access education, employment, health services and other opportunities.
Being part of AHL is more than just a job – you help create a place where people feel safe and at home. You might be preparing meals, welcoming someone after a long day, supporting a family settle in, or helping keep shared spaces clean and comfortable.
Our work is practical and people-focused, where small things you do each day make a meaningful difference for residents.
With 42 hostels across all Australia, we offer a national footprint. This provides flexibility for employees who may wish to relocate, with opportunities to continue their employment within our network where suitable roles are available.
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic people to join us.

This recruitment process will be used to establish merit pools to fill current and future APS2 roles. The merit pool established from this process will be valid for 18 months.
