About the opportunity

The Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) is Australia's anti-money laundering regulator and specialist financial intelligence unit. In our regulatory role AUSTRAC oversees compliance with the requirements of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act).

The Manager, Regional Information Sharing Platform (RISP) Operations is a key leadership role within the Information & Service Management Section in the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Branch, reporting to the Director, Digital Collaboration.

This position provides ongoing support, governance, partner engagement, and technical enablement for the Regional Information Sharing Platform (RISP), also known operationally as the CLEO Platform.Being a secure Microsoft 365 based environment, enabling multilateral financial intelligence collaboration across the Financial Intelligence Consultative Group (FICG).

As the project transitions to business as usual, this role ensures sustained capability, security, adoption, and alignment with AUSTRAC requirements.

Key Duties

The Manager, Regional Information Sharing Platform (RISP) Operations, under broad supervision, is responsible for:

  1. Supporting the CLEO platform roadmap and prioritisation of enhancements.
  2. Maintain M365 technical alignment with operational requirements across FICG jurisdictions.
  3. Oversee CLEO platform governance controls, standard operating procedures, compliance obligations, and secure configurations.
  4. Maintain relationships with CLEO owners/users and AUSTRAC technical areas.
  5. Coordinate stakeholder engagement, communications, and issue resolution.
  6. In support of these outcomes, the Manager, Regional Information Sharing Platform (RISP) Operations will be required to support the Director, Digital Collaboration to:
  7. Provide SharePoint Online business engagement and UX/integration support.
  8. Analyse CLEO and external partner business requirements and align them to AUSTRAC digital collaboration tools, including Power BI, M365 Apps and third party apps.
