Salary: $110,000 - $115,000 per annum + Super

Role Purpose

As the Program Manager (QLD), you will support the development of the Worldview Foundation program suite in the Brisbane area. You will be supporting young at-risk Aboriginal and Torres Strait people overcome challenges by building trust, rapport and motivating them to become ready to be successful in finding and maintaining meaningful employment.

 

 

Success in this role will see you:

General Duties

  • You will be working daily with case managers/ mentors and our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander program participants, helping them change their lives and achieve their potential, through:
  • Developing, coordinating, and delivering where necessary, Worldview Foundations internal and external program suite pursuant to recognised world best practice, while also preparing related program activity reports for funding providers.
  • Supporting the recruitment and induction of First Nations participants in the Worldview Intensive program by engaging with job service providers and the First Nations community.
  • Supporting mentors in building rapport with young people and helping program participants overcome barriers to employment through mentoring and connecting with relevant services.
  • Offering ongoing support to program graduates, ensuring successful community integration and sustained meaningful employment during their transition.
  • Representing and advocating for the interests of Worldview Foundation in both internal and external forums, building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Working collaboratively with WV Technologies management pursuant to achieving our shared objective of empowering First Nations program participants to get work ready.
  • Working closely with the Worldview Foundation General Manager in the development of targeted funding strategies that identify potential funding opportunities in your jurisdiction, and Manage, support and develop Worldview Foundation staff under your supervision.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organisation operates in full compliance with Australian laws, regulations, and governance standards.
  • Policy Development: Support the development and implementation of policies that enhance organisational efficiency, risk management, and ethical standards.
  • ESG & Social Impact Measurement: Ensure Worldview Group integrates ESG principles into its operations and decision-making, and lead efforts to measure and report on social impact.

Skills and knowledge:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Suite, especially Microsoft Powerpoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in using a CRM Software such as Zoho.

Qualifications:

  • Full and valid Australian Driver Licence.
  • Valid Working with Vulnerable People Card or similar.
  • Previous experience working in delivering social programs such as holistic life skills and wellbeing within the social care sector would be advantageous.
  • Individuals with lived experience are highly recommended to apply.
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander is highly preferred and encouraged to apply but not mandatory.
