AUSTRAC is the Australian Government’s financial intelligence unit and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulator. AUSTRAC Contact Centre
We are currently expanding our Contact Centre workforce to provide support and guidance for our increased reporting entities and partner agencies. As a Contact Centre Officer you will engage with AUSTRAC's stakeholders to promote their compliance and assist in their understanding of AML/CTF Act
The Contact Centre’s primary role is to provide high quality assistance and customer service to both internal and external stakeholders by providing guidance on obligations relating to the AML/CTF Act. External stakeholders include the general public and reporting entities, professional services, partner agencies, and industry bodies. It offers a unique opportunity to engage with AUSTRAC’s stakeholders, promoting compliance and supporting their understanding of the AML/CTF Act.
The Contact Centre operates from 8:30am – 5pm (AEST) but may extend its hours to 8:30am-7pm (AEST) and the working hours are managed according to this.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to work at AUSTRAC, you must:
- Be an Australian Citizen.
- Be able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance.
- Undertake pre-employment checks, including a security assessment.
- Meet any additional role-specific conditions as required.
