We are currently seeking a skilled Indigenous Carpenter to join our growing team. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to contribute to meaningful projects while being part of a team that values culture, craftsmanship, and community.

About the Role

You will work on a variety of residential, commercial, and community construction projects. From framing to finishing, your craftsmanship will help shape quality builds that stand the test of time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and plans

  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials

  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

  • Work collaboratively with other trades and apprentices on-site

  • Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and cultural respect

About You

  • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

  • Qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent experience)

  • Strong knowledge of building techniques, materials, and tools

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship

  • Respectful of cultural protocols and comfortable working in diverse environments

  • White Card (Construction Induction Card)

  • Driver’s license preferred
