Salary: Base salary package (Level 1: EA 2A $70,480.62, Level 2 EA 4A: $83,281.49 per year for a 38-hour week, plus super)

About the Role 

As part of our Network Maintenance Group, you’ll be out on Country, fixing broken water mains, unblocking sewers, and keeping water and wastewater systems running strong. You’ll be the go-to person on the ground, making sure communities stay safe and connected.

You might also step up to support the crew with daily planning or take on more complex jobs as you grow in the role.

  • Start with a Yarn: Kick off with the crew, talk safety, and plan the day.
  • Hit the Road: Head out across Greater Sydney – every day’s different.
  • Hands-On Work: Fix burst pipes, unblock drains, and keep things flowing. Use smart tech to help diagnose and report issues.
  • Problem Solving: Work with your mates to sort things out quickly and safely. Talk with locals and help them understand what’s happening.
  • Look Out for Each Other: Safety first – wear your gear, follow protocols, and protect your crew and community.
  • Try New Ways: Use new tools and ideas to work smarter and safer.
  • Make a Difference: Every job helps the mob – from homes to businesses, your work matters.

Who We’re Looking For 

You might be a:

  • Plumber or drainage worker
  • Mechanic or plant operator
  • Civil construction worker
  • Landscaper or grounds crew
  • Gas, electrical, or field response worker
  • General labourer with hands-on experience

 

What You’ll Need

  • NSW Driver’s Licence (Medium Rigid or willing to upgrade)
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Bonus if you’ve got:

  • Trade Certs like Plumbing, Water Ops, or Civil Construction
  • Excavator or confined space tickets
