The opportunities we are offering
The Next Generation Graduates Program is a cohort-based, industry driven, multi-disciplinary graduate training program that aims to equip students with entrepreneurial thinking and skill sets that are key to boost breakthrough innovation in the exciting fields of AI and other emerging technologies.
We train students to be prepared for the problem-based environments they will face upon entering their respective fields. They will engage with a distinguished national cohort of peers from diverse disciplines and locations, fostering a rich and dynamic learning experience.

Footnotes for the table
- Masters Programs at AQF9 where the second-year research component qualifies for an RTP
- 1 EFTSL research project similar to Honours that is part of a coursework Masters degree
- A 2% indexation will be applied to MPhil and PhD stipends each Financial Year. The current figure is based on the 2024-25 financial year rate.
- PhD Training allowance is $5,000 per year for three years.
- Paid in parts; $2,000 at enrolment and $3,000 when PhD is confirmed.
Eligibility
Applications are open to: Australian and New Zealand Citizens; Australian Permanent Residents; and people who are entitled to stay in Australia, or to enter and stay in Australia, without any limitation as to time.
Appointment to this role may be subject to conditions including provision of a national police check as well as other security/medical/character clearance requirements.
