We're seeking an APS6 Specialist, Service Design to support this growth, by delivering digital projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, or the Program & Capability, Strategic Design and Insights team while focusing on uplifting capability of service design across the organisation and providing services outside of digital projects. Key Duties

The APS6 Specialist, Service Design under direction, will:

  • Support the implementation and transition of new or improved services by contributing to process design, documentation, and user engagement activities.
  • Translate complex content and analysis into meaningful insights, whilst solving design problems related to service delivery.
  • Develop service blueprints, journey maps, reports and other artefacts to communicate service improvements aligned to AUSTRAC strategic outcomes.
  • Build relationships and driving collaboration and cooperation with staff, peers, partners and end users to gather insights to design, review, and improve services.
  • Work with business areas, internal and external stakeholders to support the design of an end-to-end journey of services.
  • Apply research methods to understand user needs, and customer behaviours, translating these insights into service design recommendations.
  • Review and assist the drafting of the business improvements proposals and contribute to the development, facilitation, coordination and communication of initiatives for the agency.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this role you:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen at the time you apply.
  • Wil need to undertake AUSTRAC's pre-engagement checks.
  • Will need to obtain and maintain an ongoing Baseline Clearance.
