Location: Canberra

 

The Department is seeking talented and experienced First Nations people to lead the Primary Health Care and Community Control Branch and the Family, Chronic Disease and Preventative Health Branch within First Nations Health Division. The successful candidates will be dynamic and collaborative leaders and will ensure the voice of First Nations People and providers is heard and acted on.

The successful candidates will consult widely with First Nations peoples and stakeholders about their care and support needs, work to break down silos between care and support systems and ensure First Nations peoples have a trusted source of information.

The Assistant Secretary must be able to develop and lead a team and stakeholders to achieve a strategic vision, establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and lead complex change processes.
