We’re looking to recruit 2 x Graduate Environmental Consultants to join our dynamic Technical & Project team, an integral part of our broader environment division.

  •         Graduate Environmental Consultant (Contaminated Land & Landfill), based in Adelaide, SA.
  •         Graduate Environmental Consultant (Landfill), based in Mount Waverley, VIC.

 

As a Graduate Environmental Consultant, you will collaborate closely with our talented team. You will assist with contaminated land/landfill auditing projects across various states in Australia, gaining invaluable experience and contributing to impactful environmental auditing solutions. You will also assist with technical reporting and administrative support as required.

You will be part of a dynamic team that works collaboratively with clients across a range of projects both nationally and locally.

Your training will consist of a range of personal development activities, exposure to other graduates, and opportunities to learn and work with and learn from some of Australia’s leading environmental and contaminated land professionals to grow your professional and technical skills.

Along with local site visits, technical webinars, mentoring, and internal and external trainings, AEA connects you with local and national networks that help you learn, grow, and develop.

If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.

  •         Hold a relevant tertiary degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar qualifications.
  •         New graduate or early career professional.
  •         Experience working or studying contaminated land and/or landfill related projects is highly desirable.
  •         Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with advanced written capabilities.
  •         Technically minded with the ability to identify new approaches and opportunities for improvement.
  •         Practical, can-do work ethic.
  •         A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn, and a desire to work in a dynamic deadline-driven environment.
  •         Strong organisational and time management ability including administrative and some level of project management skills.
  •         Ability and willingness to travel if required.
  •         Authorised to work-full time in Australia.
  •         Full driver’s license issued by an Australian state or territory.
